"Brise Soleil" Solar Shading
Introduction
Brise Soleil Solar Shading protects facades from the sun's rays without reducing the light. It provides additional comfort as well as saving energy. It is particularly well adapted to constructions which have to comply with new energy saving legislation.
Installation
The systems can be installed in several ways, horizontally or vertically: along the facade, between two walls (or two metal poles) or on the roof. The hanging system allows easy blade adjustment (by 15°) according to the position of the sun. Position must be decided before installation.
Description
Louvre Systems' Brise Soleil is made of extruded aluminium blades which are either C-section or ellipse shaped. These one-piece blades are blocked at each extremity by aluminium end caps. The blades are held in position by notched supports allowing blades to be positioned according to technical or architectural needs. These aluminium supports are directly fixed to the building or to self-supporting profiles.
